Hygienic storage of all of these items is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
- Sponge or foam products should be discarded regularly or when they shown the slightest contamination.
- Day cloths should not be washed and used again. They should be used for a maxmimum of 1 day and discarded.
- Any utensils that are cleaned using metal pot scourers or Brillo Soap Pads should be thoroughly rinsed to ensure fragments do not contaminate food OR damage dishwashers.
- Stockinette cloths, teatowels, oven cloths and all other linen items should be washed reguarly.
